Ingredients:
1/2 kilo sirloin beef, sliced thinly
5 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoon, calamansi juice or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 small piece ginger, crushed
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 large onions, sliced in rings
2 tablespoon cooking oil
1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG), optional
PROCEDURE :
-Marinate the beef in a large bowl with the soy sauce, calamansi, garlic, ginger and black pepper and MSG.
-Cover the bowl and let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
-In a frying pan, heat the oil and stir fry the onion rings until soft.
-Remove the onion rings from the pan and increase the heat until the remaining oil is very hot.
-Then add the marinated beef and cook slow until done. Increase heat for a minute or two to brown steaks.
-When all the beef has been cooked, Pour in the marinade and let it boil for about 1 minute.
-Arrange the beef slices on a plate, top it with the onion rings, and pour the sauce over them.
-Best served with hot plain rice.

Pork Barbecue
Ingredients:
1 or 2 kilos pork belly
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
1 head garlic
1 onion (chopped finely)
1/4 cup banana ketchup
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 cup brown sugar
1 can of 7 Up, Sprite or beer (optional)
Procedure:
-Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and marinate for at least 8 hours.
-Cut up the meat
-Cut pork meat into thin and long slices - 1/4 inches thick and less than 2 inches wide.1 or 2 kilos pork belly
1 cup soy sauce

Procedure:

-Mix well and keep in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (turning occasionally).
-Grill the meat over live charcoals, barbeque the pork on skewers until each barbeque is cooked turning every few minutes on each side and basting the leftover marinate on the barbeque.
-Enjoy with or without rice. Use vinegar and soy sauce for dipping.
